The waterproof modular PX1 safety light can be operated with three different types of lamp which not only generate an extremely bright beam, but also ensure unprecedented illumination of an area.
Xenon light (the bulb can be replaced separately) ensures illumination of the objects targeted without any color distortion. A white LED light is ideal for illumination at distances of up to 100m and an amber light is most useful in a smoke filled environment as it reduces light reflection to give clearer visibility.
Battery service lives ranging from about 3 hours (Xenon) to between 15 (full brightness with AA alkaline batteries) and 50 hours (reduced brightness depending on battery consumption) ensure clarity.
A unique bipolar power management system means that batteries can be inserted irrespective of polarity, making it easy to change batteries, even in the dark.
XAG is a highly conductive plastic developed for aerospace applications and offering special protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI), electrostatic discharge (ESD) and radio frequency interference (RFI). These properties mean that the PX 1 safety light can be used in areas and installations where sensitive electronic systems are operated (ex. in military and aviation applications).
PC (polycarbonate) is an extremely tough, non-conductive plastic.
The PX 1 safety light is compatible with almost all helmet mounts. Belt bag, optical fiber attachment and traffic wand are available as options.
