Description:
The Pila Codex is a user-programmable module that is mounted on standard Pila flashlights, which allows the flashlight to be set to emit individual codes or signals, to strobe, to fade or dim output power, and automatically release the SOS distress code for emergencies.
With the Codex installed, Pila flashlights can be programmed to:
- Set different light intensities to save battery power and extend run time - Emit short strobes for self-defense or to disorient an aggressor - Attract attention by dimming and brightening ("Lighthouse Effect") - Emit warning flashes - Automatically send the SOS distress signal - Release brief messages in Morse Code - Flare at different time intervals for team location and identication (ideal for Special Forces) - Blink, strobe, dim, or face in any sequence of the user's choice
