Unlike any other flashlight, Pila remain upgradable by simply replacing light modules and accessories! To improve light performance and to greatly ectend operation times, Pila 'Quick-Switch' LED emitters (Cree Q5) include a newly developed electronic circuitry. The narrow-beam aluminium reflector is precision machined.

'Quick-Switch' between 15% and 100% light output
When selectiong a flashlight, most users opt for 'maximum light output' forgetting that once their eyes are adapted to darkness, bright light, especially if reflected, will blind them temporarily making it impossible to recognise a scene or a threat promptly! The new Pila 'Quick-Switch' LED modules address this problem as the light is 'preset' to start at 15% illumination. Yet, the LED will emit full light (100%) instantly by depressing the tactical switch temporarily-no click noise!

Operational deployment and advantage
On patrols and for assesing potential threats, one starts illuminating scenes and targets in low and non-blinding light mode with the option to 'qucik-switch' to full brightness. By depressing the switch slightly, the light can be 'toggled' between 'LO' and "HIGH" settings, and by clicking the switch into position, the selected light output (15% or 100%) will be set to constant. Can also be operated with gun remote switch.
